STAND-UP COMEDY - INTERMEDIATE STAND-UP COMEDY

This class focuses on intense joke writing work. Students will learn to take their basic one-line joke structures learned in Level 101 and develop them into more story-style joke telling. In-depth focus will be given to helping students define their own comedic persona for performance. The class includes one-on-one coaching sessions with the instructor and video analysis of performance style. Upon completing this level, students will perform a full 3 to 5-minute set on the stage at the Birmingham Improv Theatre.
